Núria Marquès

Núria Marquès was born in Barcelona in 1975. She studied Fine Arts at the Universidad de Barcelona. She completed her degree with stays at the universities of Nottingham Trent, Chelsea and London Institute in England and Saint Etienne in France. She is in the Doctorate program for Painting at the Universidad de Barcelona, which culminates with a DEA (Advanced Studies Diploma). She is currently woking in Buenos Aires, with a residency grant at El Basilisco.

Jaime Gamboa

Jaime Gamboa was born in Bogota in 1981. He studied at the Universidad de los Andes and received his Master's degree in Visual Arts in addition to options in Art History and Architecture. Since 2002 his work has been exhibited, ideografism at the Universidad de los Andes, in 2003 bordes del dibujo at MamBo, in 2004 thesis show at the MAC in Bogotá. In 2006 he received distinction as a finalist and was awarded an Hoonorable Mention in the 1ª. Bienal de dibujo Rafael Cauduro in Tijuana, Mexico. In 2007 and 2008 he participated in the Artecámara research project by young artists; III salón de arte joven at the club El Nogal (2007); La línea continua, at the Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá (2008); Territorios dibujados, Cuestión de corazón at Galería El Museo (2008); at Galería Fernando Pradilla espacio Proyectos, Madrid (2008).
His current work deals with the practice of drawing and with the frontier between drawing and painting.
