  Photography   Souvenirs of Avellaneda
  These photos are born out of walking, out of adaptation and out of parsimony, and out of the little I knew about photography when my necessity to use it arose, in order to register the experience of modifying and being modified. I recreate from a situation of austerity, which permits me to enter into a direct dialogue with occurrences and images without dehydrating them through technicalities. I take advantage of formats as familiar as the photo album, or impressive large format vinyl displays, in order to show this production.  
This city has left a significant mark on me, and so I have elaborated small objects that facilitate remembrances of this beautiful waterside metropolis. You cannot imagine my surprised expression the afternoon that I saw a nutria swimming along the shores of the Riachuelo!

Marco Bainella
   Paraná, Argentina (1976). Self-taught with particular focus in painting. He spent a period of time in residency with the Wichi and Criolla communities in the Salta's Chaco region in 2003. He pertains to a group of artists who organize intensive seminars and other encounters in Paraná. Solo shows (2004): 'Palitos Pintados', Boquitas Pintadas, Buenos Aires, 'Frambuesa', Casa Cueva, Paraná and Zona de Arte, Quilmes, Province of Buenos Aires. Since 1998 he has participated in exhibitions in Paraná, Buenos Aires and other provinces in Argentina.
