Bill
Burns' work concerning drugs, animals and safety has been published
and exhibited widely. He has exhibited solo projects at 303 Gallery,
New York (1994), the Wellcome Trust, London, England (2002) and the
Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art, Toronto (2005). His group projects
include exhibitions and multi-media projects at Cambridge University,
Cambridge, England (1990), The Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam (1995),
Havana Biennial, Cuba (2003), The Seoul Museum of Art, Seoul, Korea
(2004), and The Museum of Modern Art, New York (2005/06). He is currently
producing a solo exhibition project for the ICA in London, England
and a solo radio project for KunstWerke- KW ICA in Berlin. His books,
multiples and photographs are included in collections at the Victoria
and Albert Museum and Tate Britain in London, the MoMA in New York
and the Getty Center in Los Angeles. Bill is working with bird songs
and bird calls as artist-in-residence at El Basilisco.
