Gabo Camnitzer    bio          e-mail                  I was born on a dilapidated sofa in a tin hut in Ecuador in 1976. I grew up in a house in an affluent suburb of Paramaribo, 30 minutes walk from the center of the world. I don't know why I do what I do, so I do it. I'm securing my insecurity in visual terms. I am looking for the spot where Paul Klee and the Viennese Actionists overlap. An area where fun can be had. Degenerate capitalist art. Treatise on the exploitation of plants.
