Luis
Guerra appears in Santiago de Chile in 1974. My statement goes
something like this: I believe in Bruce Lee’s definition of
the (Martial) Arts, as being to express oneself honestly. My working
process is based on loss as a methodology. I use any means necessary,
without making authoritarian or ideological distinctions. I made
drawings, create performances, paintings, environments and objects,
art things. I like to think about the relationships between ephemeral
events and their processing by the mass media. I believe that my
production aims to dismantle emotional synchronization, by way of
the very presence of a thing called art. I have exhibited in Beijing,
Masterton, Hamburg, London, Rotterdam, Madrid, Buenos Aires, Bogotá,
Sao Paulo and Santiago. |
