  The zone's wild vegetation offers a significant variety - somewhat besmirched by the parking lot, perhaps - nevertheless it is leafy and presents signs of good health (…). Today I gathered a group of pointy-shaped leaves, measuring approximately 10 cm. tall, with 7 or 8 bifurcations between the stem and jagged border (…). Another of the species widely recognized in the region, far from being a stalk of corn though it comes quite close to one in appearance, may well be a kind of prototype yet in development.

Carolina Senmartin
  (1973) Córdoba, Argentina. Education: Graduate of the Escuela de Artes de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, with degrees in Drawing and Painting. She has participated in solo and group exhibitions in the cities of Córdoba and Buenos Aires, Argentina. She received grants from the Fondo Nacional de las Artes in 2002 and 2003, in order to carry out advanced study with artist Mónica Girón. She participated in the Clínicas de Análisis y Producción de obras program organized by Fundación Antorchas in Córdoba in 2002 and 2003. She is currently professor at the Escuela de Artes de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba and professor in the Photography department at the Escuela Splimbergo in Córdoba. She lives and works in Córdoba.
